Sarah loves talking to in-house lawyers and helping them explore and resolve challenges. One of her key strengths is connecting with people and she’s pretty ace at creative problem-solving too, which is a great combo given that she is a Director of Client Solutions in NZ.
Sarah has worked as a lawyer since 1998 in NZ, London, and Singapore. She is a mental health champion and has spoken at many conferences about mental health issues, flexible working, and legal operations. Sarah won a scholarship in 2016 and prepared a paper “Valuing our lawyers: the untapped potential of flexible working in the legal profession” which was published by the NZ Law Society. Sarah established and co-ordinates a series in LawTalk, the NZ Law Society’s monthly magazine, focusing on mental health issues in the legal profession.
Sarah lives in sunny Māpua at the top of the South Island with her family and a menagerie of animals. She loves running, reading, hiking, red wine, and playing lego with her kids (in no particular order).
