Lawyers On Demand (LOD), a Consilio company, has appointed Fatima Seyadi as its new UAE Talent Acquisition and Client Solutions Consultant.
As a Bahraini national and UAE resident, Fatima brings a wealth of local knowledge, extensive legal sector experience and a passion for female empowerment in the profession.
Fatima has been a senior LOD flexible lawyer since early 2021. She has over sixteen years of legal industry experience, including most recently being seconded to a leading multinational financial service provider. Fatima qualified with a BSc in law from Bahrain University and will continue to use her legal and local market knowledge to assist LOD’s UAE-based clients with their flexible legal talent needs.
Fatima Seyadi comments: “I started working for LOD three years ago as a legal consultant during the COVID pandemic. Like many mothers with young children, I was struggling to balance my professional career and family. I immediately felt that LOD saw my situation as a strength and a market need, and not an obstacle. Having witnessed first-hand what it means to be an LOD lawyer, I am delighted to be able to use my experience and local knowledge to help both our clients and prospective lawyers, as well as driving the business even further forward in the region.”

Fatima’s recruitment is the latest example of LOD and Consilio augmenting their global HQ team since announcing the acquisition in August 2023. Her appointment follows the recent promotion of Mark Dodd to LOD UAE Country Manager, and the recruitment of John Hale last month as Consilio’s Chief Marketing Officer based in the US.
