About
Monica is a Team Lead Lawyer in LOD's Structured Teams. Her role focuses on supporting global in-house legal teams with day-to-day triage work - everything from reviewing and drafting to negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements. Beyond the legal work, she manages the pool of lawyers working across managed team clients, with a particular focus on those based in South Africa. This includes scoping new matters, acting as a point of escalation, and ensuring the right lawyer is matched to the right task.
Outside LOD
Outside of work, Monica is passionate about the African bushveld, loves picnics on wine farms with her family, and never misses a chance to watch her favourite rugby team dominate on the world stage.
